About me / Places I've livedPatrícia Fortes is an energy systems modeler at the NOVA Lisbon University. She has been working on bottom-up versus top-down energy models to assess economic, environmental and technological impacts of low carbon pathways. She has worked at IPTS-JRC of the European Commission and cooperated in several national and EU research projects on energy-economy-environment modelling. She has also worked as a consultant for the Portuguese Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of the Environment in the fields of climate change mitigation and energy policies. She has a PhD in Environment (2014).
