| ::Some fun ideas coming from this - nice work!

Agreed with Berit on the case, all lower case does seem a lot smoother. The arrows would lead to a simple stand-alone logo, but I'm not sure they really communicate openmod (or OpEnMod ;) ) properly.
For J1: "Opening the black box of modelling", as Eva puts it, is a nice touch, although it wasn't instantly obvious to me that it was a keyhole. Could try something with the first O of openmod being an incomplete circle/part of a keyhole? [[Special:Contributions/192.168.42.1|192.168.42.1]] 14 November 2016, 12:37 (CET) | | ::Some fun ideas coming from this - nice work!

Agreed with Berit on the case, all lower case does seem a lot smoother. | :::Thanks Robbie for the new designs!

I also like the idea of re-using or "citing" other open source logos. I personally like the last best, where the O or keyhole is used with the flashs. I also like the idea of O1-O3, where the "O" in Openmod is used as part of the logo.

What if we used the keyhole-O within the writing? I tried a rough sketch, but how can I upload it?

Cheers,

Katrin

[[Special:Contributions/192.168.42.1|192.168.42.1]] 15 November 2016, 10:10 (CET) | | :::Thanks Robbie for the new designs!

I also like the idea of re-using or "citing" other open source logos.
