About me / Places I've livedSince 2010 working with Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment, Energy. Interested since ever in pathways to a sustainable energy transition. In recent years mostly working on and coordinating energy policy and energy efficiency projects, mostly in a European or German context. Finding, that energy efficiency and renewables alone are not sufficient or not sufficiently fast to reach climate targets.
In May 2020 started my PhD project in a Federal Research Ministry-funded research group on energy sufficiency modelling. Not being a modeller yet, my task will be to design and program a sufficiency policy module.
In Corona times moved to the countryside 1h off Cologne – and don't want to miss close-by nature anymore.
