About me / Places I've livedI'm a Research Scientist at IRD (French Research Institute for Sustainable Development), working on the multidimensional aspects of the integration of Renewable Energies in both on-grid and off-grid frameworks in Developing Countries, through the development of decision aid models and scenarios. I've been working (and living) more specifically in Eastern Africa and South America over the past 10 years, and I'm now focusing on the Water-Energy-Agriculture and Climate Change nexus in Western Africa.
I and my lab typically develop our models within the "Open Science" framework. Personally, I build energy and GIS packages/models through the Python's OOP interface, but I'm open to any other open-source programming language. Our models and packages are available on the Python Package Index, as well as open-source git repositories (Framagit).
