1. Privacy is a term that can have different meanings. It serves either to protect data from loss, alteration, or damage, or to protect the human individual from being computable and vulnerable through unrestricted data collection and processing.
2. Data privacy is the relationship between the collection and dissemination of data, technology, the public expectation of privacy, and the legal and political issues surrounding them.
