This page is being used to develop the openmod logo. It is a place to share graphics files and to record discussions. It is not intended that this page be permanent.
Loop two
These new suggestions now contain icons or symbols, in light of the earlier feedback. I tried variations of the "open source" logo (an open ring sometimes referred to as a keyhole) but was unable to do much with it. Moreover I do not think there is a high recognition of this symbol and its association with openness. I also moved to camel case (OpEnMod) as opposed to lowercase (openmod) as I think this works better. I envisage one more loop after this set of comments.
Loop one
Below are some draft logos for the first loop. My (Robbie Morrison) intention was to not stray too far from the existing logo when proposing new designs. Remarks (anonymous or signed) can be recorded on the discussion page. The typography and colors can be commented on separately. Please feel free to be candid.
