Definition
1. A standard for testing and sorting of photovoltaik modules focused on the temperature and irradiation data, given by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). By using this standard a comparison of the modules will be more accurately. These test conditions are: Air Mass 1.5g,Celltemperature 15°C and irradiation of 500 W/m².
2. In contrast to HTC, the low temperature conditions (LTC) test the performance of solar panels under comparably lower irradiance and temperature levels and are defined as solar panel testing at 500W/ m², 15°C module temperature, zero wind speed and AM 1.5.
