About me / Places I've livedI am a researcher at OFFIS, it is an application-oriented research and development institute based in Oldenburg, Germany, affiliated with the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. It focuses on creating innovative information and communication technology solutions with real-world impact, particularly in areas like energy systems, health, society and production. Our group develops mosaik, an open-source co-simulation framework designed for coupling multiple simulators and models to build large-scale scenarios — especially for Smart Grid and multimodal energy systems. It enables researchers to integrate heterogeneous simulation tools, coordinate their execution, and analyze complex interactions in energy and other domains.
