About me / Places I've livedGiorgio is a financial economist, energy economist and econometrician, who has published on the integration of EU electricity markets, the synchronisation of EU electricity prices and on the impact of policy incentives in EU energy markets. In 2014-15, he joins the UCL Energy Institute as a Research Associate in Energy Storage Economics and will be working on the RESTLESS project. His studies will aim at improving our knowledge of energy storage economics as well as the regulatory challenges of deploying mass storage.
Giorgio has a PhD in Energy Economics and Financial Econometrics from Imperial College and a MSc in Economics and International Finance from Warwick University. He previously worked at the Italian Ministry of the Economy and Finance and the Italian National Research Council. Last year he was a Teaching Fellow in Economics at UCL.
