About me / Places I've livedJulien Marquant started his PhD project "Multi-scale Modelling and Optimisation of complex Energy Hubs networks" at the ETH Zürich (Chair of Building Physics) and at EMPA (Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology - Urban Energy Systems Laboratory).
The aim of this PhD is to integrate a multi-scale modelling paradigm in the widely used energy hub framework for the design of urban energy systems. The multiscale dimension will facilitate design of systems that exceeds the boundaries of urban neighbourhoods and extend towards the whole city scale.
