About me / Places I've livedI am a PhD candidate interested in the intersection between the sustainable energy transition and digitization of the energy industry. Specifically, how digital technologies at various layers of the electricity supply chain can assist in the reliable integration of variable renewable energy. I have been working on system models that help quantify the reserve requirements of the power grid, and the operational flexibility available in the electric power grid. I am currently interested in models for distribution systems to support community choice aggregation plans and the acquisition of various grid services. I currently live in Hanover New Hampshire and before that I was in Poughkeepsie New York. In the future, I hope to study energy access especially for developing countries. The OpenMod community gives me a chance to engage with others working on similar problems, and collaborate on various projects.
