About me / Places I've livedAs a Research Engineer on the IDCORE programme I am currently completing a series of courses on Offshore Renewable Energy. In June 2023 I will be placed with a sponsoring company to complete an original research project at PhD level.
Prior to joining the IDCORE I worked as an analyst with the transport team at the energy systems catapult. As a result, I was responsible for translating modules within the Energy Systems Catapult's Consumers, Vehicles and Energy Integration (CVEI) model to Python. This involved exploring and translating systems built in Excel, VBA, Python and SQL.
I have a broad range of experience in both qualitative and quantitative research, holding a Masters in Electrical Engineering (MEng) and a Masters in Energy Law (LLM). The majority of my experience within industry has been as a researcher and programmer, focusing particularly on Python and MATLAB for modelling.
