About me / Places I've livedI am a Research Fellow at Imperial College London, working on reliability modelling of electricity grids and the control and system-level impacts of flexible demand. Energy system models currently address these aspects only in very approximate ways - if at all. I would like to contribute to open energy models by developing improved high-level models of system reliability constraints and flexible demand.
Before coming to Imperial College I completed a PhD in biological physics, as part of which I studied emergent behaviour within plant cells using theoretical and simulation methods.
